It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to our website and hope that you find it easy to use and full of the necessary information about our school. We are a large three form entry Infant School situated in the south area of Witham. We work closely with Howbridge C of E Junior School with whom we share our school site.
We have an extremely talented and committed staff team and Governing Body who work hard to provide the very best for the children in the school. We offer a stimulating and caring learning environment which we are constantly improving both inside and outside to capture the interests and imagination of our children.
Our curriculum is rich and varied to ensure that there are many opportunities for children to achieve and develop their individual talents. A close and supportive relationship between school, our families and the community is really important to us and we have lots of opportunities for them to be involved in our children’s learning in our drive to provide a high quality education for every child.
Ms Conley, Headteacher
We are beginning our festive celebrations with our Early Years Nativity. It always amazes us how the children quickly learn the speaking parts in the play and the words to our Christmas songs. I am sure you will enjoy the performances.
Our KS1 children are now preparing for their Performances during the week of 10th December, lots of rehearsals are taking place so that the children can give their best performance.
We have a number of Christmas events for the children including our annual Christmas Panto, which this year is The Adventures of Treasure Island. Children will also be enjoying Christmas Jumper and Party Day.
For our Early Years parents we have a special Coffee, Carols and Cake morning and our School Choir will also be performing some Christmas Carols at a separate event.
Its is a very busy but enjoyable time of year in our school and we hope that you are able to join us for some of the events.
For more detailed information about our events, please see our letters noticeboard, our diary dates and events booklet or the events section of the school website.
Some of our Year 1 and 2 children have been working with their parents to create beautiful Christmas Wreaths. I am sure you will agree how amazing they look!
