In phonics we will be moving on to new phonics learning. We will focus on the digraphs: ear as in learn, wr as in write, st as in listen sc as in science.
7th July Non Uniform Day – Bring a bottle (shampoo, pop, squash – not alcoholic)
11th July Summer Fayre 2pm-4pm school playground – sign out children from classroom at 2pm

In DT we are working on a project to create our own smoothies. Over the next few weeks we will explore different fruits, taste test different ready made smoothies and then plan and create our own.
In science we will be completing our experiment on what a plant needs to survive. We will also be investigating the differences between wild and garden flowers/plants.
The children will be coming home with their maths homework books again this half term.
Please look at pages 32 and 33.
