Children in Need Day Friday 14th November – children can come to school dressed in yellow, spotty or Pudsey related along with non uniform.
As the weather is changeable now as we approach winter, please could you ensure all children have a named coat in school everyday.
For our maths focus we will continue to learn about addition. We will move on to solve addition word problems. For example if 6 birds are on a tree and 3 more landed on the tree, how many birds are now on the tree?
In RE we will begin to explore the ways in which Christians celebrate Christmas.
In Art will be looking at the work of Piet Mondrian. We will then use our new learnt skills of digital painting to create our own Mondrian picture.
In DT we will begin our new topic – puppets. We will begin to explore different types of hand puppet and then design and cut our own fabric.
