We will be finishing our fact files about Queen Victoria to link with our recent history work. We will be writing lots of important facts about her reign and trying to join some of these together using conjunctions.

| Year 1 School Disco – new date – Thursday 16th July – collect from classrooms at 4pm. Party clothes to be brought into school.

| In science we will be exploring different temperatures and weather patterns across a range of countries around the world.
In history we will continue to learn about Queen Victoria and will create a timeline about her life. In art we will be finishing our sun collage in the style of Gaudi. In mindfulness we will be exploring courage. We will be learning through a story and games that it’s important to give new things a go even if you may feel worried at first. It is important to be brave and believe in yourself to succeed. |
