English

We will be looking back on our amazing memories from Howbridge Infant School. We will be writing about our hopes for the future and what we would like to achieve in year 3. We will also think about all the exciting things we have to look forward to, and will write questions for our new teachers!

Reminders

Thursday 16th July – Leavers Assembly 9:15am in the school hall (this will last approximately half an hour)

Friday 17th July – Sports Day! 11:15 start on the school field. Gates open at 11am. 1:15 finish on this day.

Thank you for all of your help, donations and support for the Summer Fayre! We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

Maths

We will be taking part in lots of fun mathematical based games! We will create our own arithmetic board games and will complete quizzes about all the topics we have learnt about this year. We will also have a great time working in teams to complete different challenges.

Topic

Next week we have lots of exciting things planned to celebrate the end of the school year!

We will be taking part in a transition morning at the Junior school where the children will spend time with their new teacher, in their year 3 classrooms.

The children will also have great fun at their very own Leavers Party! We will play games and have a dance.

We are also looking forward to performing for you at our Leavers Assembly. We think you will be impressed with all of our lovely songs!
