We will be starting a new unit on ‘Length and Height’. We will learn about different units of measure and how to use a ruler properly. We will order different lengths and heights and will compare these using words such as longer, shorter, greater than, fewer than. We will go on a measuring hunt around the school recording different lengths and heights in centimetres and metres.
In History lessons next week we will be learning about The Royal Family, with a special focus on King Charles III. We will learn about his life, his role and more about The Royal family tree. In Design and Technology we are going to be continuing with our Fairground Wheel project. We will think carefully about structures and how to make our wheels strong and sturdy. In PE we will have our final cricket session with our coach Rowan. We have really enjoyed these lessons and have learnt lots of new skills.
This week in MiniMe Mindfulness with Abbey we thought about the things, people and places that we are grateful for. Gratitude is a powerful mindset technique that helps us to focus on the positive things which can help shift our mood.
